Uniformly heats thermoplastic sheet materials commonly used to form prosthetic and orthotic devices. Infinitely adjustable temperature. Heating surfaces are coated with air permeable Teflon sheeting. Cover has counter- pressured top. Two gas cylinders assist in lifting the cover and hold it open at a 45° angle. Furthermore, the heating plate is equipped with an adjustable closing clamp and a digital timer.
