Product Overview
X-Lite Finishing Tape is manufactured in a similar process as X-Lite Splinting & Casting Material, but the base is cotton gauze instead of cotton mesh. Available in 3/4 IN, 1 IN, and 2 IN widths - strips or dispenser packaging. Just dip in the heated water for a few seconds and it is ready to adhere to your splint for edging, or to pile straps so they can easily be attached to your splints.
Uses
- Add a nice smooth edging to your X-Lite splints
- Wrap around ends of your pile straps - heat with your heat gun and attach to your splints
- Use to attach outrigger or other components to your splints
Edging material should be immersed into water heated to 160°F for 10 - 15 seconds. Working time is about 15 - 20 seconds. Cooling time about 5 - 10 seconds.
