ETD2 ProPlus, White

Now available in White*. The Motion Control ETD2 (second generation Electric Terminal Device) provides the same robust, functional and water resistance features of the original ETD in a shorter, sleeker package. A full 2 cm (3/4 inch) shorter than the ETD, the ETD2 is not only useful with long trans-radial amputation levels, it also closely matches the size of a standard length hand. Multiple gripping surfaces are located between the fingers and on the outside surfaces of the fingers, for passive stabilization of objects.

These gripping surfaces are field replaceable. The proximal area of the gripping surfaces holds large cylindrical objects stable. The wider fingers provide increased surface area for increased holding ability at decreased pinch forces.

The ETD2 is part of the ProPlus family of components, with an on-board processor allowing for easy adjustment via an iOS (Apple) device, and interchangeability with almost all other terminal devices including iLimb, Bebionic and Motion Control Hands. Force Limiting Auto-Grasp (FLAG) is optional, as are the Flexion Wrist and Multi-Flex Wrist.

Note: For 5010121 and 5010122 (Heavy Duty Fingers), steel inserts increase the strength of the fingers.
