Heel spur can be treated effectively with the Technogel® heel pads. They provide an extremely high degree of cushioning and pressure relief for the heel area.
Technogel® is an innovative gel based on polyurethane. Due to its plasticity, this patented gel provides effective pressure distribution. The material absorbs loading peaks in three dimensions and dissipates these forces over a larger area, thus protecting the muscles, joints, tendons and ligaments. Due to the "memory effect", the gel always returns to its original shape when the load is removed. So the pressure relieving effect is provided anew with every step.
The heel pads are skin compatible and comfortable to wear for your patient. The self-adhesive underside secures the pad in the shoe.
Comprehensive studies in partnership with the Politecnico Milan, Basis Institut Munich, and Test and Research Institute Pirmasens show that, in comparison to materials currently used in the market, Technogel® products have excellent cushioning properties.
