Product Overview
  • The RCAI Multi Podus® Orthosis with Transfer Attachment has a synthetic sheepskin liner with tan straps is also known as the "Original L'Nard Boot". This cost effective system replaces most other equipment used for bed positioning and functional lower extremity alignment

  • The MPO® floats the heel eliminates pressure or friction on the heel, enhancing blood circulation vital to healing. The dynamic flex action supplies continuous counterforce to the plantar surface of the foot assisting in the correction of foot drop, foot and ankle contractures and deformity.

  • The adjustable toe post relieves pressure on the toes and can be positioned to the side in the treatment of malleolus and lateral ulcers. The rotator bar positioned to the side, controls hip and leg rotation, providing functional alignment.

  • Bilateral Multi Podus® Systems with a spreader bar provides 35° of controlled hip abduction.

  • The Original Multi Podus® Orthosis is also available with the following modifications:

  • Multi Podus® Short Back 90° - This Short Back version has a short calf area and it does not have the rotator bar. This MPO® can be used for patients with severe knee contractures. Available in sizes small, medium, large & extra-large

  • Multi Podus® Modified 25 is pre molded at 25° plantar flexion. Dynamically treats foot and ankle contractures over 25°. It does not have a transfer attachment and is available in sizes medium & large.
